This USB JTAG interface programs all AVR flash microcontrollers which supports JTAG (ATmega16, ATmega32, ATMega323, ATmega162, ATmega169, ATmega128). It works with target Vcc 3.0-5.0V. It uses Atmels 2x5 pin JTAG connector layout (DIFFERENT FROM ICSP CONNECTOR layout!). There is no need for external power supply, the PC side is powered from the USB, the target side is powered from the target board. The two sides are optically isolated from each other. It works with AVR STUDIO for programming, real time emulation, debugging, step by step program execution, breakpoints, memory dump etc, exactly like an ATJTAGICE (AVR studio thinks it is an original ATJTAGICE). Upgradable via AVR STUDIO. Dimensions: 50x40 mm (2x1.6") + 20 cm (8") cable.
